Be surrounded by a fantastic array of both static and flying aircraft

At Airshows Downunder Shellharbour, you’ll not only witness a full program of breathtaking aerobatic and handling displays, but also be able to get up close to some amazing aircraft from the past and present.

Unlike some airshows, Airshows Downunder Shellharbour is staged on an airfield large enough for the majority of airshow performers to park on display when not performing.

That means visitors can get closer than ever before to some of Australia’s most capable frontline military jets, innovative civil aircraft and restored heritage and warbird aircraft from yesteryear.

Shellharbour Airport is also home to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS), a volunteer organisation dedicated to preserving the aircraft that have played a part in Australia’s aviation history.

As a result, Airshows Downunder Shellharbour visitors will also be surrounded by historic machines such as the Douglas DC-3, Super Constellation, CA-27 Australian Sabre jet and the supersonic F-111C.
