Corsair to Appear at Wings Over Ilawarra 2020

March 5, 2020

Wings Over Illawarra is excited to announce that Graham Hosking’s F4U-5N Corsair is to star in the line-up at Wings Over Illawarra 2020 on the 2nd and 3rd May 2020

The Corsair was designed and operated as a carrier-based aircraft and entered service in large numbers with the U.S. Navy in late 1944 and early 1945. It quickly became one of the most capable carrier-based fighter-bombers of World War II.

This will be the first time that this aircraft has been displayed at Wings Over Illawarra and we are very excited to welcome her to the Wings Over Illawarra!
