VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR 2019
September 25, 2018
Wings Over Illawarra Air Show will be recruiting volunteers for a number of positions for our 2019 event. This will be your chance to help make something amazing happen!
Volunteering for the Wings Over Illawarra Airshow is a great way to get involved in the community and have fun. While at the airshow you can feel, hear and see the excitement all around you. The event is looking for adults (18 years and older) to volunteer to work in many positions, including: Ground Operations, Air Operations, Transportation, Hospitality, Security, Setup and Pack Down, Clean Up, Program Sales, and various other positions. All applications require Event Management approval.
Why Volunteer?
There are many reasons people volunteer. For some, it’s being up close and personal with the aircraft and being surrounded by aviation for multiple days. For others, it’s working with people who also love aviation, who stop to watch a take-off or landing, who get it! But the best reason is coming back year after year to catch up with the friends you’ve made in previous years and most definitely in knowing you helped make something amazing happen.
