Airshows Downunder Shellharbour will be held at Shellharbour Airport, Airport Road, Albion Park Rail, New South Wales just over an hour’s drive south of Sydney (approx. 100km), 20 minutes south of Wollongong and 45 minutes north of Nowra.
There are a number of travel options available to ensure your trip is quick and easy and you’re watching the airshow before you know it!
For a stress-free trip to the airshow, we encourage travel by train where possible.
AVOID THE TRAFFIC TRAVEL TO THE AIRSHOW BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Albion Park train station is located on the Princes Highway opposite the Airshows Downunder Shellharbour Main Entrance, a short 100 metre walk.
It is the perfect way to travel to the event and avoid the traffic.

Event Parking is available to General Admission ticket holders with a free shuttle bus service to and from the Main Entrance Gate. There is no General Admission parking available on the airshow site.
Event Parking incurs a $10 fee and is payable at the time of General Admission ticket purchase. Please note that access to Event Parking is only by showing your pre-purchased parking confirmation – there is no facility to purchase parking on arrival.

Directions to the Event Parking area will be clearly signposted, traffic management will be in place however some delays may be unavoidable.
To avoid traffic delays, consider arriving by train, Albion Park train station is situated opposite the main entrance gate, less than 100m from the airport.
If you hold a Chalet, Gold Pass, Orbx Wings Pavilion or Media ticket, you have access to dedicated onsite parking.

1. When you are arrive at Albion Park Rail, turn into the Airport Precinct from the Princes Highway via the Airport Road traffic lights.
2. You will be directed into Hargraves Avenue.
3. Along Hargraves Avenue one of our friendly staff will ask to see your ticket.
HOT TIP: have your ticket ready to avoid traffic delays.
4. You will be directed into the dedicated parking area.
You will need to pre purchase your parking pass when purchasing your Airshow ticket/s, this can also be adding to you order at a later date.
If you require an accessibility parking space, after purchasing your car parking pass please contact us directly at for further information. Please note, this will only be available to those with authorised Accessibility Parking Permits which you will need to bring on the day of the event.
Event specific disabled car passes are not required.
